
Nehemiah 5 reminds us that God is not only concerned with whether the work gets done. He’s concerned with what kind of people are doing the work. When injustice rises inside the community, faithful leadership listens, confronts, restores, and serves under the fear of God.
I’ve been stuck reflecting on the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 17, bringing the widow’s son back to life.
