Nehemiah 5 reminds us that God is not only concerned with whether the work gets done. He’s concerned with what kind of people are doing the work. When injustice rises inside the community, faithful leadership listens, confronts, restores, and serves under the fear of God.
In Nehemiah 2:1–8, we see that prayer and planning are not enemies—they’re partners. When God opens the door, faithful preparation meets divine opportunity, and the hand of God makes the impossible possible.
