Trauma can leave wounds long after the crisis has passed, and sometimes Christians carry the added pressure of wondering why they’re not “over it” yet. Isaiah 61 offers a different picture. Christ moves toward the brokenhearted with comfort, grace, and restoration. Healing isn’t proof of spiritual strength, and faith doesn’t require pretending the hurt never happened.

God never designed you to heal alone. In this week’s Mind & Soul post, we explore Galatians 6 and Ecclesiastes 4 to understand why real healing happens in community—and how God uses people to carry what we cannot carry by ourselves.

Psalm 42 teaches that faith isn’t about hiding pain—it’s about bringing it to God. Honest lament becomes worship when we let Him meet us there.
